Training Videos and Tradeshow Best Practices

Summary: The following guide outlines proven exhibitor best practices when using solutions such as the Virtual Rack configurator

  • Pre-Conference
    • Generate Awareness: Leading up to tradeshows, promote Celestica’s presence in the exhibitor expo. Leverage social media, email marketing, your website, and other channels to create anticipation and incentivize attendees to visit your booth. Several companies will post on LinkedIn sharing new products/services, booth number and value messaging. Be sure to include the tradeshow tags in your post, e.g. #SC23, #supercomputing
    • Pre-Conference Product/Demo Trainings: Train Celestica’s exhibit booth staff comprehensively on showcase products, demos, key messages, and effective communication techniques to ensure they are knowledgeable and confident in representing the brand
    • Practice: Encourage all booth staff to familiarize themselves with the structure, layout and content sections of the application. Everyone is able to practice on their own device. https://m.kaon.com/c/ct
  • At the Conference
    • Engagement:
      • Practice on the actual rack. While it is technically the same as your desktop or iPad app, it presents in portrait mode and uses a front and back panel
      • Leverage the Virtual Rack Configurator to draw attention, bring people in, qualify and drive highly personalized engagement
      • Whenever possible, invite your visitor to touch the screen, make selections and configure a rack
      • Connect the vRack or any devices used offline at the event, to the internet and open the application so that the usage analytics are uploaded to the Insights Portal.
      • When the application is not in use, bring up a 3D model and activate the auto loop feature
      • It is important that the visitors understand this is more than a fancy display. When you have a moment and see that the configurator is not being used, take the initiative to use the tool. You will notice that people will get curious and ask questions.
  • Post-Conference
    • Post-Conference Review: Measure and evaluate. What worked, what did not work? Gather feedback from attendees and staff, and incorporate lessons learned into future trade show strategies to maximize the impact of their exhibits.
    • Lead Generation Follow-up:
    • If you used the Virtual Rack Configurator during a meeting, leverage it in your follow-up. Share the saved configuration with the customer after the show. It will be an impactful visual reminder of the conversation the visitor had with you. Access the share card which enables you to download the Rack Configurator Tool to your desktop or IOS tablet.
    • Create a video overview of the booth. Embed it in your response.
